MARIT designs and manufactures a complete range of marine chains, stud link and studless anchor chains, supplied with all mooring and anchoring accessories. Our chains are available in Grade 2 and Grade 3 for naval and marine applications, and in Grades R3, R3S, R4, R4S, and R5 for offshore mooring systems.
Our French-manufactured chains are compliant with ISO 1704 standards and approved by leading classification societies, including Bureau Veritas (BV), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), DNV, Lloyd’s Register (LR), and RINA. We also produce custom cast and forged components, with dedicated tooling developed for special designs or large-scale projects.
Our chains and fittings can be made from carbon-manganese steel, stainless steel, non-magnetic steel, or alloy steels, with marine-grade surface protections such as hot-dip galvanizing, cold zinc plating, epoxy coating, or coal tar epoxy for harsh offshore environments.

CHAINS
Marine Chains
We supply anchor chains available from stock or manufactured to custom specifications, including stud link anchor chains in Grade 2 or Grade 3, and studless marine chains. Our range also includes all associated fittings — Kenter joining links, swivels, anchor shackles, and connecting shackles — fully compliant with ISO 1704 and IACS W18 standards.
Offshore Chains
Our offshore chain range covers anchor and mooring chains in Grades ORQ, R3, R3S, R4, R4S, and R5, specifically designed for the demanding environments of the oil and gas and floating wind industries, in accordance with IACS W22 regulations.
We also supply chafe chains for Single Point Mooring (SPM) systems, along with heavy-duty shackles, mooring plates, and OCIMF central triangular plates, manufactured according to OCIMF recommendations (1988, 1993, and 2007).
MARIT also provides a wide selection of utility and port chains, including quay fender chains, buoy chains, and marine shackles, as well as various mooring and docking accessories.

Our catalogue includes a complete range of high holding power (HHP) and super high holding power (SHHP) anchors.
As a manufacturer and supplier of marine anchors and mooring grapnels, MARIT provides a wide selection of naval, offshore, and river anchors, as well as screw anchors, available from stock or custom-made to meet your specific requirements. Our product portfolio includes AC-14, Danforth, Hall, Pool™, stocked anchors, deadweight anchors, Flipper Delta™, Union, S70, S90, Britany, Bruce™, US Navy Stockless, and Spek anchors, as well as Stevpris™ embedded anchors.
